RipCheck is an AI-powered receipt and price analysis tool. You upload a receipt, bill, invoice, or describe a purchase, and our AI compares the charges to fair market prices. We provide a rip-off score, line-item breakdown, and negotiation talking points.

Acceptable Use

RipCheck is intended for personal, non-commercial use:

• Checking your own receipts, bills, quotes, and invoices.
• Comparing prices before making a purchase or hiring a service.

You may NOT use RipCheck to:

• Harvest pricing data at scale for commercial purposes.
• Automate requests using bots, scrapers, or scripts.
• Upload illegal, fraudulent, or fabricated documents.
• Circumvent usage limits or abuse the free tier.

Accuracy Disclaimer

RipCheck provides AI-generated estimates, not financial, legal, or professional advice. Fair price ranges are approximate and based on national and regional averages. Actual prices vary by location, provider, time of year, and many other factors. Always use your own judgment when making financial decisions. RipCheck is a starting point for understanding pricing, not a definitive authority.

Payment Terms

• Free tier: 1 free receipt check per email address.
• Single check ($2.99): One-time payment for one additional analysis.
• Monthly ($4.99/mo): Unlimited checks. Subscription auto-renews monthly. Cancel anytime.
• Annual ($29.99/yr): Unlimited checks. Subscription auto-renews annually. Cancel anytime.

All payments are processed securely through Stripe.

Refund Policy

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on subscription plans. If you are not satisfied with RipCheck for any reason, contact us at hello@getripcheck.com within 30 days of your initial purchase for a full refund.

Refund conditions:

• Refunds apply to the first billing period only
• Refund requests must be made within 30 days of the original purchase date
• Single-check purchases are non-refundable as the service is consumed immediately upon use
• Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days
• To request a refund, email hello@getripcheck.com with your account email and reason for the request

Subscriptions can be canceled at any time from your Account page. When you cancel, you retain access until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused portions of a billing period after the 30-day guarantee window.

Limitation of Liability

RipCheck is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any decisions made based on our analysis. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid to RipCheck in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of RipCheck after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
